Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the home hospice. Two stars overall. This was end of 2023. Almost a completely negative experience except for the home health aides who deserve five stars. The visiting RN was a traveling nurse and had no training or skills for hospice care. The company admin folks were angry about any feedback and then called and harassed our elderly parent caregiver scolding them. The nurses aids were amazing and they get five stars. My mother in law was a patient under this company until they fired her for wanting “aggressive treatment” meaning she called 911 when she couldn’t breathe instead of hospice due to the fact that the last time she had an emergency nobody showed up for several hours where she was left laying her own poop due to her ostomy bag breaking and I couldn’t help her because I can’t move her on my own and we were still waiting on more bags to be delivered. I can't say enough on how caring and passionate this HPH hospice is. Both my parents were in the care of Crystals team out of the Brooksville office. Everyone treated my parents and me with the compassion and love we needed in a difficult time. Raquel the RNCC nurse that kept me up to date on all my parents medical condition.
