Seal plate that mounts under bonnet is powder coated not painted. Powder coat cracks over time & plate will rust thus encouraging rust on bonnet. After 12 months had to remove rusted plate & bonnet from vehicle. .Treat rust, repaint & replace rusted washers etc that were in contact with HPD supplied plate.
I recieved the catch can for my Jeep Grand Cherokee this morning and got it all fitted up in no time at all. Top marks to the team for such an expertly crafted well thought out design.The accompanying instructions were simple and clear with brilliant photos to aid the fitting process.This should be able to be fitted by anyone with basic mechanical skills and tools. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK TEAM HPD!!
