Personally I can't fault this health centre. Have always found all the staff to be helpful, informative and friendly. I've been with them for upwards 15 years now, as I've got older they've offered me preventative tests and appointments which means I feel well cared for and well looked after.
Great practice , really helpful with my daughter . Gp and reception staff alike are great.
I am appalled by Hoylake and Meols medical center's decision to charge my daughter £35 for a supporting letter confirming her epilepsy – a letter your practice has already provided to her in the past, for the exact same purpose: supporting her application for concessionary public travel. My daughter is a hardworking NHS nurse who lives with epilepsy, a condition that prevents her from driving and makes reliable, affordable public transport essential. This practice has declined particularly since Covid. Lack of empathy with admin staff and very young, inexperienced front of desk reception. They don't seek to resolve matters, and have a take it or leave us attitude. You can never get an appointment. We have elected to move after the poor service.
