If it were possible to give less than one star, I would. My mother has dementia, bought a $6000 vacuum cleaner from a door to door salesman, and wired money to Mexico. As I had no expertise in how to protect her from herself, I turned to an "elder lawyer." $17,000 later, I am my mother's conservator; however, it would have been cheaper to allow her to continue to purchase vacuum cleaners and wire money to Mexico.
