I recently had my Toyota Corolla serviced at Howell's Automotive, and I have to say, it was the best auto repair experience I've ever had. The repairs I needed were major: a complete transmission replacement and two new front wheel bearings. From the first call, I felt like I was their top priority. I was recommended to this place by my son‘s friend. He came highly recommended. I was suffering with no AC for several months because all of the body shops I had gone to had up charged 300% for a hose plus the labor. I did my homework. I know how much this part costs and it wasn’t $349 like I was being told. All the other body shops were also trying to convince me there was more things that were wrong with my AC when there was not. I have had multiple cars fixed by Gary and I give him my highest recommendation. He will go out of his way to be fair and work on the price as much as he can. It is also my experience that he is honest ot a fault and will only charge you for what actually needs to be fixed. One example: I had an ABS sensor go bad on one of my cars and another shop said they would have change all 4 sensor and charge me over $2,000. I drive a 2014 Subaru with 200000+ miles and had oil mixing in with coolant. Called Howell's Automotive right away because I can count on Gary's expertise on automobiles. He worked on this car last year after I had taken it to the Subaru dealership 3 times for an issue with the ABS system but they couldn't get it fixed. This was a great auto shop experience! I brought my classic truck to them to figure out what was wrong in the front end. They took the time to investigate the issue and come up with repair options for me. Repairs are done and I'm back on the road. Very satisfied with the whole process!
