This is a PSA for anybody looking to rent an apartment in the Orlando area. STAY AWAY FROM MCKINLEY OWNED PROPERTIES. Our happy Howell Crossigs Apartments was purchased by them back in November. They changed the name to Winter Park Flats. Then AGAIN changed the name to Serena Winter Park. My two biggest issues: 1. With Howell, we were renting a 1/1 800sq ft apartment for $770 a month plus utilities. With McKinley, if we moronically chose to renew our lease, we'd be paying nearly $200 more, plus an additional pet rent with no... read more
Awful place
Howell Crossing is a small quiet community, with a great staff. They come to my rescue quickly each time service is needed, going far beyond expectations. I have lived in this community for 7 years, and I am very happy here.
