Perhaps if he's the only neurologist you saw, he could be the best of the bunch, in that case. I promise there are highly more qualified neurologists in Nashville. I'm lucky to be alive honestly after being discharged from Vanderbilt.

Dr. Kirshner is intelligent, personable and did not rush our appointment. He was thoughtful and listened carefully to all we had to say.
How this guy ever was taken on board at Vanderbilt beats me. I had a TMI (mini-stroke) December of 2016. I was subsequently admitted to Vanderbilt where Dr. Kirshner was one of a handful of doctors if you want to be kind, who not only miscalculated the seriousness of my condition, but following my ill advised release, took it upon himself to mock me through the Vanderbilt Health patient portal. Stay away from Vandy if you've experienced even a minor stroke.
Dr. Kirshner is the best neurologist in Nashville. He's intelligent, up-to-date, and really listens to and cares about his patients.
