THE BEST HOSPITAL IN THE WORLD. My daughter, Briela, was born in this hospital a month ago. It was an induced labor, which made it more complicated, but this place is the most beautiful thing that could ever exist. The doctors, the nurses, the care, even the food, etc. Everything is so professional, ethical, and courteous; words simply can't do it justice. We had an excellent experience at the MedStar Health Emergency Room. My daughter was severely dehydrated due to a stomach virus after being seen at another hospital and an urgent care where no exams or treatment were provided. From the moment we arrived, everything was different. She was taken back to a room in less than 20 minutes. My sister presented to the Emergency Department on February 16, 2026, with acute abdominal pain. The ambulance arrived at Medstar right before 2:00 p.m., with my mother driving behind. My sister was in the ED screaming and writhing in pain. Her words were, “Help me, I am going to die,” as she cried out in the hallway. When she was finally attended to, she was given a dose of morphine, which, did not relieve her pain. This review is not low because of the care received but because of billing practices. I went to the ER in December 2025 I received a bill which was all good then I paid what the insurance didn’t cover. Apparently there were 2 additional physician bills for the ER visit that was not sent and the payment was applied those bills, this was discovered when they sent me the same bill again and I called about it. PLEASE BE AWARE OF DR. JORDANS HITCHENS DO AND DR. TU NGUYEN in this hospital!!!! My cousin went in for a wellness check and her and her mother both reported that these two doctors were seen drinking and intoxicated! My husband and I wanted to see what was going on and upon visiting we could see they were clearly drunk. Please be aware!! If I were you I would avoid this hospital at all costs and not endanger my loved ones!!!
