Unfortunately I had the worst Emergency room experience ever. The Triage nurse was incredibly rude and insensitive on 6/17 @ approx. 8pm. She was NOT willing to give any answers regarding wait time when my 20year old daughter came in in severe distress. When I asked for an estimate of how long it would take for her to be seen the nurses words were "I don't know you see the waiting room." Which was very crowded. People go here to die—the absolutely worst hospital in the area. Reply: There’s nothing more to talk about. Just do better! Hire more healthcare workers, expand your space with additional beds, train your front desk staff better and simply coordinate a system to run more efficiently. It’s completely unacceptable that there’s a 3-5 hour wait just to be taken back to a room! My advice to anyone in Olney, drive 35-45 minutes across state lines to Inova. People go here to die—the absolutely worst hospital in the area.
Posting this review because of all the bad reviews I was very nervous but this was our only option. Turns out I didn’t need to worry. My husband went to the ER, waited for only an hour, and was diagnosed, given antibiotics and was feeling back to himself in a few hours. Nurses were very nice.
