If I didn’t move from NYC I would still be seeing Dr Kivell today. He is an excellent urologist. He operated on me twice after my bladder was cut by a gyn surgeon during a hysterectomy. Dr kivell and my oncology gyn operated on me twice to close the bladder and did so successfully. Dr kivell always took excellent care of me, treated my uti infections which thanks to the cut bladder were frequent, and never made me feel anything other than confident that I would receive the best of care from Dr Kivell.. Horrible bed side manners, did blood testing and urine testing and he lied about my results. I had a UTI and he told me not enough to treat with antibiotics.... He made me feel uncomfortable with the way he 'jokes' around. Overall, does not seem like he cares about treating his patients. Does the bare minimum. Oh, and when it comes to receiving your results? HE TELLS YOU NOTHING. Pointless and a waste of time.

Wow! Talk about going out of your way for a patient! Dr Kivell goes above and beyond what you would expect from a Dr. When he did not hear from my son who is diagnosed with cancer and was unable to reach him via certified mail or through phone calls, he reached out to me. He explained his concerns about my son and sought my help in reaching him. You don't find many doctors today who will go above and beyond to contact their patients so that they can get the help they need. He is on of a kind.
