Dr. Epelbaum presents as a physician who is on automatic pilot going through the motions without acknowledging the patient. He does not look you in the eye when having a discussion and will have you coming back for information that could have clearly been relayed via phone. His negative energy provides for an uncomfortable discussion and lack of concurrance results in his use of fear tactics. His staff has you line up for an extended period and does not acknowledge phone messages requiring multiple call backs.

Dr. Martinis is a highly qualified and credentialed physician. I saw Dr. Martinis in his Northport office. His staff was courteous and efficient and Dr. Martinis did a complete and proficient exam. Dr. Mitchell Efros scheduled a cystoscopy to evaluate bladder stones. I was not too worried about the procedure since I had this procedure once before and was pretty much nothing. Efros comes into the exam room and immediately inserts local anesthetic to numb my urethra and within two seconds jams the scope with no regard into the urethra.
