Do not go to this person if you need a compassionate doctor who actually cares about your health. I had an appointment at 10 am, which was already rescheduled by the office last minute because my typical doctor had went on leave and my appointment fell in that window. Terrible bedside manner. Kept telling me “ he doesn’t need to know this” when detailing my injury. Constantly cut me off when answering his questions, was very impatient. Took down my new pharmacy then 10 minutes later sent prescription to my old pharmacy, had to go back into the building to correct it. His notes in MyChart have multiple errors including using a 5pt. and a 10pt. pain scale for one knee over the other. He said I had 2/10 pain on the right knee and 4/5 pain on the right knee (yes he put right twice). He’s all ... read more
I had seen some negative comments on the staff of this office, but since my Cardiologist, who I love, had recommended Dr. Schaefer and Dr. Scheiner, I decided to give them a go. I was transferring from a practice that I was unhappy with. I just got back from my first appointment with Dr. Schaefer, and I love this office.
