Howard Immel, Inc. hired us for Dr. Eric Larson’s Ambulatory Surgery Center project in Oshkosh, WI. We completed a major portion of our scope of work, yet they have not paid us anything — even though they’ve already been paid by their customer for the work we performed. We are owed over $226,000 in completed work and change orders. Instead of paying, Immel blocked site access, ignored change orders, and imposed delays and unreasonable demands. Immel Construction built a structure on a neighboring lot and in the process pushed a significant amount of dirt over the property line. This resulted in damage to over 30ft of newly constructed fencing that has yet to be addressed. I have not heard from anyone at Immel in months about this issue.
If you ever see their trucks on the highway, follow them, they make great pace cars! :)
