We can't say enough wonderful things about Howard County Pediatrics. When we selected them before our son's birth, they were incredibly helpful. We have been seeing Dr. Mailander for about 2 years now. I appreciate and trust their guidance and expertise and always feel my son is in great hands - wellness or sick appointments, HCP exceeds our expectations.
Wonderful practice and doctor. Dr. McKay is amazing! He's always so kind, knowledgable and thorough.I never feel rushed and he is always so patient with my many questions. He also always has great feedback and strategies to address common issues we parents face ie. potty training and picky eating. I feel strongly that my son's health and care is in great hands. Thank you Dr and hoco peds!
We have been with Howard County Peds for three years. I wanted to write a review to speak to my visit with Dr. Moynihan today. My daughter had an eczema flair up and Dr. Moynihan took her time with my daughter and was very thoughtful and thorough. She could've easily breezed through the appointment, but instead took her time with my daughter to make sure I knew the best treatment options. I also love the express sick visits in the winter and the ability to get your child checked for acute illnesses is great.
This place has been going down hill for the last couple years Ive been going. Front desk people always put me on hold whenever I call. I’m on hold for long wait periods to the point it hangs up and I have to call back. My last appointment the front desk lady mocked my son for crying after his first year shots. They never schedule me with the same pediatrician. The nurses and doctors seem to always be in a rush and it never feels genuine when they’re with my kids. This place appears to be very unorganized, communication is horrible, and as a protenial new patient for my child so many red flags. I assume my medical records release form was misplaced due to no one reaching out to me after 3 weeks maybe more. Called today to see if the records were received so I can make my daughters appts. No one could find the forms, was placed on hold three times to check emails & asked the same questions every time I was taking off hold regarding the form information which they should've already had.... read more
