The staff in the assessors office are always helpful and friendly. They have a great professional and courteous demeanor.
You need to be very careful with these people. They have consistently overassessed my home. I’ve tried to sell it and the appraisal comes back well below what they are saying. Finally, they relented after I showed them the appraisals but they still have assessed the house more than the appraisals by about $10,000. This is absurd! Further, these Nazis will assess your home even higher if you get a temporary gazebo from Wal Mart because they say it’s a permanent structure. Beware and keep an eye on your yearly assessments!
