I try to refrain from leaving bad reviews unless it’s absolutely warranted. I have been to Howard Brown Dental for pretty routine procedures. It is now July 1. Back in December I scheduled their first available appt. for February because I needed x-rays and a root canal. I get to the appointment 2 months later and was told they don’t do root canals, they gave me a referral to somewhere else that was equally difficult to get into, so I paid double the price by going to a clinic if my choosing to get that done. Go to HBH only if you have no other options. If you have insurance or can pay out of pocket, I would not recommend HBH for medical or dental care. The only competent doctor I have seen there was a psychiatrist, and that is the only health service I would suggest. If you are looking for therapy, you likely will not get it. You will be put on a waitlist with everyone else, and they never follow up. Four friends and I have been on that waitlist for over a year with no updates. I've been to dozens of doctors around the Chicago area over the last fifteen years, and HB hands down is the best experience by far. They listen, they accommodate, they work with me, they are incredibly responsive.
