The service tech came to my house because my AC stopped working. He made no mention of any costs to me. He looked the unit over and said I could put about $600 into, but still not sure how long it would last because the unit was old. I knew that, so I asked about installing a new unit. He said installs are about 3-4 weeks out. That wasn't going to work for me, so I told him to put the unit back together. I later found out he left the blade sitting in the unit. Our air conditioning stopped working right at the end of a heat wave. I called the office to set up a service call and a couple hours later Chris showed up, figured out the problem, replaced the part, and had our air conditioner running great again, and the price was very reasonable. Chris was very polite throughout the visit and seemed to be very knowledgeable.
Jack came out to get our 33 year old heating and A/C system checked out. Detected several issues including a mouse in the A/C condenser that decided to chew on the wiring … Jacks father had worked on this system many years ago and may have installed it… Nice to know that his father instilled a great work ethic and wonderful skills in his son. I’m ranking Hovland’s with 5 Stars…for quality of service and friendly and efficient employees.
