I have been going to Dr Tran for the last 6 or 7 years. He is an excellent doctor. However, his staff leaves a lot to be desired. Especially the front dest. They are the people that you first come in contact with and get greeted by them. Unfortunately, they care about their comfort and not the patient needs. I have been waiting to speak to the office manager, now for at least 45 minutes. So, as much as I like Dr Tran, I will no longer want to deal with the staff.
Dr. Lam is the best Retina specialist we've found in Houston. Highly recommend.
I wish I had better to say. Besides the insane wait time (I nearly fell asleep), the time with the doctor was less than 5 minutes long. I wasn’t able to ask any questions nor did she describe her findings. She stated notes for the other person to jot down, but never explained what they meant. She walked me to the front desk without ever asking if I had any questions. I had to try to ask her something at the front desk (no privacy). I do NOT recommend this place.
