Absolutely horrible experience. The ER staff are rude, the ER is packed, and patients are waiting over four hours to be seen. This is what a third world country looks like and cannot believe this is the level of quality in Houston. Just go to a surrounding ER in a nicer part of town for short wait times and better care.
My experience with Methodist ED was truly terrible. First and foremost the compassion is not there anymore. This ED has truly gone down hill, from being placed in triage for forever with no one coming to check on you, the nurse coming in after the dr to take vitals and asking the same questions and not communicating with the doctor. (While I’m in unbearable pain) Being placed back in the waiting area after being given medication that made me so loopy and the nurses don’t come to check on you. This is a horrible hospital I wish I could rate this place zero stars I wasn’t even supposed to be released at all but yet they released me now my surgeon can’t even operate on me and he said I was never supposed to be released in the first place. They don’t know why this hospital released me. So now I can’t have the surgery! Which I need how do you do years of schooling to goof on this makes no sense to me at all.
Very bad experience, emergency means treat the patient fast , here is the opposite unfortunately, worst experience ever
