Scheduling is difficult if you have multiple injuries they can only check one per day. Then they have limited doctor availability so only 1 injury can be assessed per week. This place is a scam designed to separate desperate individuals from their money. I described my pain to what I thought was a nurse but later the doctor said she’s just a minimum wage worker. The back and forth between schedulers who refuse to help setup appointments is frustrating. Methodist needs to evaluate this because you're losing patients who can't even schedule with you. Safe to say, I'm not coming back. Enjoy losing money, I guess. Time to find a different PT facility with a front desk that will want me in.
Lazy staff. They won’t even read the instructions the doctor sent them. Ahead of your appointment they spam you with calls, texts and emails to ask you pre-pay and fill out stuff. Then we when you arrive you have to fill out the same stuff on paper again. Dirty facility also. Disgusting
I had a really frustrating experience with the front desk staff at Methodist Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. After paying my copay, filling out all the necessary paperwork, and waiting, I was told that the doctor doesn’t treat foot issues—despite me clearly mentioning multiple times that the problem was with my foot. The front desk (Gigi) claimed they left me a message notifying me that the doctor is a knee specialist, but the nurse and I listened to the voicemail together and confirmed that was never mentioned. Sarah is amazing. She’s is treating and ACL recovery and geriatric balance/strength issue for our house. She is thorough in her analysis and tough with her expectations and workouts. Facility is clean and comfortable and they are always on time.
