Sweet, friendly, happy, and pleasant staff here . I have been to many Hospitals to accompany family members and all those hospital were not pleasant. Today it was my turn to take myself. Everyone has been absolutely wonderful and that has Made a difference in me feeling better. The only downside is not having insurance and being broke, to then the staff that has to come and try to collect a payment while not feeling well. They are just doing their job, i know, but still
This is horrible: I never been to a hospital that is disorganized and unsure the rooms are disinfected. Open needles on tray, needles in the brown trash, counters displaced and biohazard is right by there to drop needles.
Where are the Doctors? No doctors consult or examine you? Serious injuries and left to nurses, PA, or NP who do not have the expertise or experience to treat serious injuries. This is not a trauma ER and understandably so. DO NOT go here unless for a cold. Go to Memorial Herman right down the road. No compassion, burned out nurses. Very poor leadership and care. Sad. Dr Lee was very attentive and professional. Checked on me 3 times during my visit and gave me an injection and breathing treatment meds that are finally giving me relief to breathe comfortably again. The triage nurses are great, efficient, and caring - Amanda, Sarah, and Madison.
I’ll avoid going to the ED at all costs, but so happy I chose this one. As someone that worked as a Paramedic for 9 years during college and grad school—- everything about this department 10/10. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience at this hospital and thought for sure they couldn’t have an ED run so smoothly with this population — but they always exceed expectations.
