My Partner and I recently just visited the ER here and the service was absolute garbage. The staff were incredibly rude, and impatient. My partner explained that she wasn’t comfortable with needles, the nurse asked what arm she would like it in and my partner stated that she would prefer it in her right arm. 8 hours wasted with this place. They will gouge you on everything. I had insurance and they charged me 5k for 1 single lower back xray and 5x hydrocodone 5mg prescription I had to pay extra for which didn't even work. They also sat me in a chair left me for 6 hours with only a single cup of water. What kind of business are yall running. What's the 5k for? Am I putting a down payment on your 20k xray machines? I've always had good experiences at this ER. Tonight was different. Went in with swelling and pain in my ankle and foot. The male nurse and his sparky comments were rude and unnecessary. First he told me smoking was bad for me and he could smell it on me. I apologized and agreed it's bad to smoke. Later he asked me to sit in a recliner in the hallway and didn't even wait for me as I was walking slowly from ankle pain. I’m so thankful that Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital took great care of me during my visit to the Hospital ER. Shelly was amazing! Andi unit really held it down!
I have a lot of anxiety going to hospitals after living in one basically years ago.. For me to go especially with an injury(that I'm pretty sure isn't life threatening) is a lot. I can't thank y'all enough the doctor could tell my pain from me sweating the nurses techs x-ray triage even registration were all so caring. Even with a full er and patients coding they still treated us fast waiters consistently and very caring.
