Beyond poor care. They denied my transfer chart for care just because im a diabetic !!! I have great insurance and wanted to pay for the rest of my care upfront. Between them and UTMB are terrible. Im so unhappy at this point. Don't say your a high risk hospital when you don't take high risk patients!!!!

I can't say enough how amazing the L & D nurses here are. I welcomed my baby via scheduled 4th c- section. This was by far the best experience with L & D nurses I've had. Attentive, friendly, caring. They took amazing care of me and my baby. I definitely recommend choosing this hospital to have your baby at.

i really could not have asked for a better first birthing experience. i got induced with my baby boy on Tuesday and had him 7.5h later. My nurses were absolute blessings, especially Nurse Tracy. She really made me feel like i had a 2nd mom as my nurse. She made my stay absolutely amazing, and she’s so personal with her patients. She treated me as if i was her own and it really warmed my heart. i felt like i was giving birth surrounded by nobody but family, including the nurses. If i ever have another baby, this will definite... read more

Had a planned csection here to deliver my twins just 2 weeks ago. One of my twins ended up having to stay in the NICU for 10 days. The nurses were so kind, especially Sahar (one of my day nurses), Gina and Elaine (the NICU nurses). Thank ya'll for all the help and kindness!

I could not have asked for a better experience for my first birth. My water broke before my induction date and my obgyn had not registered me in time, so the hospital had zero information on me. The front staff, techs, and nurses were all so helpful throughout the process, all while keeping me calm through a stressful situation. Everyone was a great advocate. My baby, my husband, and I were very much cared for. I loved how everyone kept me in the loop with everything going on and not leaving me in the dark. The nurses made s... read more
