I took my mom here for a biopsy it was discussed on the phone when doing the pre surgery consult that her doctor had cleared her for surgery. The breast center waits until we are at the hospital on the day of the surgery to say she's not gonna do it because she wants clearance for the doctor on a fax not just in his notes. This was highly unprofessional and could be delaying urgent treatment. I've never seen a hospital wait for the day of surgery to decide they don't like the form of clearance provided. From when I parked my car in the special ladies reserved parking, to receiving friendly customer service, relaxing atmosphere, warm robes, professional Mamogrophers- and what a treat when all done: the coffee/tea bar! I’ve been coming here for my annual mammogram for several years, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! The whole process is always super quick and smooth, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Tiffany, the technician, is incredibly gentle, kind, and truly professional, she makes the experience so much more comfortable. Highly recommend this place!
My review is about shady billing practices. The care I received was top notch by everyone involved. Methodist will send exorbitant estimates that the patient has to pay in full or in part when their insurance will cover far more than they expect. For example, on 4/8/24 I had a biopsy and was given a $1300 estimate. This was soul crushing as I didn't have that money.
