They are in a unique position in which they are the only ones that can turn on a system. There contract has lapsed and we needed them to turn on the system. Most places would think of the customer before the money but in this case they wanted to see the money first. I can't blame them too much since it was our fault for letting the contract lapse but I thought it might be helpful to others to know how we were dealt with. I do wish them the best since they do do good work.
