I've been a regular patient for several years. For a simple eye checkup, I am being asked to complete a form asking about all surgeries, all meds, all doctors and to provide a photo - a bunch of stuff that seems irrelevant. Update: An effort was made to accommodate my concerns. I now understand that a lot about one's health can be determined from an eye exam, and having background information helps with this. Had to cancel my appointment with my eye doctor's office the lady that verifies insurance couldn't understand that Cigna is the only insurances I have. Cigna even called her and she refused to listen. Fed up beyond belief!!!

Very disappointed with the billing department at the 2855 Gramercy location. I have PPO in network insurance. They will NOT file the entire invoice to my insurance for consideration of payment. They made me pay a partial payment upfront, out of pocket for $4100 prior to cataract surgery. Just want to make everyone aware of Insurance Fraud at this location. The reason they made me pay out of pocket is due to getting more money from us than if they were to file with my insurance. They would only get a partial of the $4100 due ... read more

My ophthalmologist, John Goosey, has been my go to eye doctor for over 20 years! While I see him at the Grammercy St. location now, I still visit the Chimney Rock office for support with my glasses. The staff is consistently supportive, friendly and professional. I’m always satisfied with the products they sell and the service they provide!

I am very unsatisfied with the Kingwood location. Their scheduling department has messed up my appointment , not once but 4 times !! even for my surgery date after making arrangements with my employer a month in advance and driving an hour to their office. The receptionist stated they has called and canceled all Dr. Thomas appointments, which I never received a single phone call. I even to call and confirm own appointment the previous day and never once mentioned about any cancelation. I never heard if my insurance had appro... read more
