Very dissapointing! Consultation was rushed and quite unpleasant. Met with Dr Goosey but he was not really interested to discuss my eye condition if I was not going to do the cataract surgery he performs. If I decided to do same I will defintely find another more concerned empathatic doctor. Not impressed with the office staff too. Cold and unprofessional.
Ms. I've been seeing Dr. Gonzales since I was a baby. I have had a lazy eye my entire life and last year when I was 18, he gave me the okay to go ahead with corrective surgery if I wanted, which of course I did. I was very skeptical about how normal my eye would actually look after the procedure was done. The surgery lasted just about 1 hour and Dr. Gonzales did and amazing job. Dr. Garcia needs a new front office staff I have been to see Dr. Garcia twice and she has been great. Energetic, knowledgeable, doesn't keep me waiting, etc. Her office staff, on the other hand, is terrible. The first time I went to Dr. Garcia, her front desk staff overcharged my Flex spending card by $400 and they said they weren't able to refund the funds that day. I received an eye examination on 1/18/22 for new contacts. They did not have my prescription so they had to order them for me. I never got a phone call, text or email about my contacts I already paid for. When I called(twice) no one answered or returned my messages. I then emailed, no response. I then stopped by the office location for them to tell me the "contact lens receptionist" was gone already, my contacts were no there and they have no contact lens RX to give me bc it was never finalized. I went to get my eyes measured for cataract surgery. I had to have someone take me. It is 65 miles from my home. Getting rides just to the store is a chore for me. After the minute it took to measure my eyes I asked to schedule surgery. They said to contact my doctor. It cost me $37 to get there. I am on minimal SS and it is a struggle to do anything extra. This review is for the Tanglewood location. As a new patient who asked for an eye appt. due to eye pain I feel that I was not treated with care or concern. The front desk just wanted to throw papers at you to sign without explanation, I could barely see as my eye hurt so much. I had eye pain on 12/2/2020 that started at about 12:45 during lunch time. My appointment was at 3:50 p.m. I came in early at 2:00 p.m. because of the eye pain. When I checked in, I told them that my eye was really hurting. I was thinking that I would be seen earlier, but I wasn't seen by the eye doctor until 5:30.
