I went to Houston Eye Associates because they were closer to home. However I was very satisfied with my first visit. They will now become my go to place for my eye care.
I was visited on 3/24/25 with Dr. Young. She's very friendly and smiley, maybe to a fault! But something I was very concerned about wasn't addressed, which is why my left eye couldn't see all letters as opposed to the right eye even with the proper contact lenses. Maybe it's above the expertise of an OD, and needs a certain kind of ophthalmologist, but it didn't sit right with me that she skipped over any discussions about it until I brought it up. I was visited by Dr. Kaylie Young. She didn't address one of the major reasons I'd visited her for, which was why I don't get perfect vision score on my left eye. Maybe that's above her expertise, but it seemed to me anything beyond a very routine eye exam might be. Also she didn't let me know she's going to perform dilation prior to the appointment and didn't warn me about its consequences during the appointment, which made driving quite unsafe for me.
