Paramedics are a joke! The so called paramedics got called to the house of someone having an active stroke. They could not remove gurney from the Ambulance, they could not lift the patient who had to be picked up by a bystander (who did it alone). You should not see the gut of a paramedic below the shirt. If someone was in a medical emergency several stories up then they would be screwed! The paramedics need to do a course for physical activity, don’t need to call 911 for a paramedic who has a medical emergency on site.
The new director is hard working, and dedicated to creating a better EMS service for the community. The staff there are wonderful, and always helpful. They all want what is best for the community and it shows in their work. I highly recommend HCEMS.
