Great Cat People My two cats are my children. I wanted to find a doctor that was cat-only so they wouldn't get as upset as they do when I take them to a full-service vet. It makes a world of difference. I also think Dr. Smith's genuine love and attention to them also helps to ease their fear. I have appreciated the attention to prevention instead of waiting for a cat to show signs of illness. You see, cats do not show any sign of weakness unless they are really, terribly ill. Excellent care I took some kittens I found that had mange, were very young. They received excellent care. It was the first time in a long time that I had seen a vet that cared about kitties as much as the folks here do. I would recommend this vet to anyone that has kitties.
unsure I had to wait over an hour for my scheduled appointment, which I understand can happen. But when I finally was seen, I felt like I was rushed in & out. Also I wasn't totally confident in the doctor's knowledge about my cat's condition (just a strange feeling of unease). I can't recommend this place and feel right about it.
Houston Cat Hospital is Questionable for Cost The vet is wonderful with cats and truly a cat lover -- although at times I questioned her knowledge regarding my pet's condition. It seemed as though a lot of tests were performed "to make certain" my cat didn't have something out of the ordinary. I thought the clinic was overly focused on money in general. Not Satisfied I wanted my cat to be comfortable so I decided to take him to an exclusive cat hospital for an annual exam. My experience there was a disappointment. As I walked into the clinic there was an awful smell that gave me a headache for about two hours. As I waited in the waiting room there was a technician that was taking clients back and it seemed to me that she was seeing appointments like a doctor.
