I have been trying since the beginning of 2025 to get help through the Housing Opportunities Commission’s voucher program, and my experience has been nothing but disappointing and hurtful. Despite explaining my situation and the fact that I am at real risk of homelessness, I was denied with only a vague reason and no real explanation.
