I've tried numerous times to contact a case worker by phone. All I get is an answering machine, I leave my name and phone number for a callback and it never happens. Similar results with website communications no response whatsoever.
Veterans FYI. Getting a voucher is only half way there. The agent that processes your voucher (Jasmin Sanchez) doesn't even look at your file for at least 2-3 months after she gets it back from the apartment manager/owner. Even if you found a place the same day you receive the voucher. If there are any discrepancies they won't be found until months have passed.
