If I could give them 0 stairs I would! Let me start off by saying I was on the program for four years and don't get wrong it helped me when I needed it but I've always worked for the most part. They are extremely rude and they get mad at YOU for not doing THEIR job! And then when you correct their behavior, they try and make your life a living hell by nit picking with you and everything and sending inspectors to your house. What is going on with this Location? They don’t answer the phone. They send our files over to a third party called Nan Mccay because they have to many people on the Housing Voucher program. And Nan Mccay never Picks up the phone. Why are you sending housing voucher clients to Nan Mccay ? Who is Nan Mccay? And why have you chosen to send us over to Nan Mccay? Is it a different company? They don’t pick up the phone and don’t help with cases
My new worker Mrs Henry is awesome 🤩. I must say the Joliet Housing Authority outdone themselves when they hired her! She is very responsive to her work and she be on top of everything she do. I found out she was my worker and she has delivered when it came to my case. Everyone there has been helping me especially Mrs Marrow but I thank God for Mrs Henry!
Today I had an AMAZING experience with Ms.Henry! After trying many times, since January to get help (via emailing my housing specialist Nan McKay or calling the call center) I finally got Ms. Orissa Henry! She was EXTREMELY KIND, EFFICIENT, and INFORMED! she was able to help me with my issue in less than 2 hours. Thank you so much Ms.Orissa Henry for your help this morning!
