Applicant login site hasn't worked properly in 3-4 months, that I know of. I had to go up to the office to check the status. Also I got an application in on a Saturday and the deadline was due that Monday 11/3. Letter was dated 10/21, envelope was metered in their office on 10/23, yet didnt reach me until 11/1. I check my mail daily. It didnt bare a postal postmark so I'm assuming it sat on someone's desk until last minute.
