These folks really love helping your pets! They took such good care of my dog and are pretty reasonably priced
We often used Dr. Houseweart for our dogs when we lived in Paonia. We moved to Delta and didn't really need a vet very often. When we did, we used Grand Mesa. Our young shepard had a seizure disorder and was on medication. She was a zombie so we cut back on her meds, deciding that we would prefer a happy dog with seizures than a depressed dog without. Dr. Houseweart and his wife, Betty, are wonderful people. I am happy for them to be enjoying semi-retirement. I love how they love our pets as much as we do!
Current hours are: Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am-noon, he's trying to retire. He's a gentleman and a scholar, it'll be a huge loss to the community when he retires for good.
