Let me just say, I’ve been here about a week now. I’m in preterm labor, and my doctor is requiring me to stay near the hospital, I live about an hour from Abilene, this is absolutely wonderful and so homey, the staff is so nice, and the house parents are absolute angels, I’m so grateful, when I walked into the house for the first time I was brought to tears, I’m so grateful for a place like this, and all the sponsors who selflessly donate their time, and money into this to make it possible, I cannot wait to have my baby and ... read more

We had a guest staying with us for over a year waiting for transplants of his liver and a kidney. On April 13 he got “the call” from Baylor-Scott-White in Fort Worth and after 14 hours of surgery on the 14th his transplants were done!! Join us in praising God for this gift of life! And join us in praying for the precious donor’s family!! Houses for Healing is a wonderful ministry!!!
