We had a shower remodel through Lowes several years ago who subcontracted the job to House Works. Unbeknownst to us, the tile in the shower was not properly sealed with the Schluter system applied by House Works which resulted in a major leak. We recently bought a new build done by HouseWorks and it is incredible! We looked at several new builds from various builders and this home was extremely set apart. It is such higher quality and has the feel of a custom home. Any minor issues we have discovered (like you would in any new build) they have resolved with no issues. Friendly team and very high quality work. Would definitely recommend this team!
We had a very negative experience with this firm and ultimately had to end our working relationship and find another firm to complete the work. The level of supervision at the jobsite and the quality of the work was not acceptable.
Terribly incompetent…I’ve been dealing with a leaking roof for months and their solution is to just add more caulk. Root cause appears that they used the wrong sized flashing around my chimney and left the holes from where the old flashing was attached. Even with all the caulk, they didn’t bother to try to caulk those holes. Finally had to pay another company to fix it right.
Poor quality and not professional. If you are looking for a great builder, choose Monticello or Weaver.
