The worst salon experience I’ve ever had. I booked an appointment for a relaxed pixie cut in early May, and ended up with damage to both my hair and scalp. I have now learned that several things were done incorrectly during the appointment: • The relaxer was applied using a metal comb • No scalp protection (like Vaseline) was applied beforehand. • The relaxer was left on far too long for my naturally fine hair texture. • The stylist who applied the relaxer was untrained and unsupervised.
