I’ve been to House of Skin in Sherman Oaks several times and usually have a great experience. I honestly wish I lived closer so I could come more often. That’s why I was really surprised and disappointed by what happened today. I booked the 75-minute prenatal scrub + massage. Their website markets this as a specialized prenatal service, notes it can be booked up to 29 weeks, and the booking form asks how far along you are. Absolutely APPALLED by this business. My sister in law gifted my mother a $250 gift card to come here for a scrub and massage. My mom called and booked the day before requesting both a scrub and massage, and when she arrived the next day, they told her the tech will only have time to do a scrub. My mom, still being nice with no idea what that would turn to, agreed.
