My husband and I got a calzone and a pizza tonight. The calzone was incredibly greasy and flat. It was like a fluffier dough needed to be used. His pizza had no cheese. I do not understand how they have so much business. The service however was very friendly.
This place is always finding a new way to rip me off. 1. While dining in and paying with card, they automatically charged me 18% tip at Pay Here. This is not a restaurant with table service, and we were only a party of 5. 2. Their pizza quality is hit or miss. Sometimes it's perfect, other times it's misshapen and burnt with holes in the crust and a serious shortage of toppings. Plus you can't get more than 5 toppings. 3. I have a pretty hardcore food allergy and it is difficult eating out. I wandered into this place just to see if there was anything I could have. I saw that they had a few salads that might work when a gentleman came over and asked if I was ready to order. I explained my situation and he completely understood and made a perfect salad 😁. Pizza was reasonably good. Salad was terrible. Service was so so! Obviously understaffed. Would not go back!
We visited this pizzeria while exploring Alaska. The thin crust, wood fired pizza was very good and the sauce was flavorful. Garlic Knots were tasty and they had a limited selection of craft beers to complete the experience. Instead of holding my pizza order until we had a chance to enjoy the Garlic Knots we received our pizza before being served the our appetizer. I suggest if you're ordering and want the items in "sequence" that you make it clear to the person taking the order.
