A Spot for Tea Looking for a cozy spot for a spot of tea? House of Commons is a great place to be! It's downtown just off 15th and Platte, within walking distance of REI and many other fun little shops. A perfect respite on a snowy afternoon, as when we were there -- or any day! The sandwiches and pastries are delicious, and the scones absolutely delightful. We took a large group of girls there for an outing and were treated with terrific food and service.

A tasty treat. – What a refreshing place this is! House of Commons is on the edge of the city, in the trendy Riverfront neighborhood, and its robin's egg blue walls and yummy snacks lend a breath of fresh air to Denver. The servers are so sweet, albeit slightly slow on the busier days - only b/c they are making everything to order, mind you. It's definitely worth any wait there may be. I recommend the Wimbledon sandwich and the homemade shortbread cookies.
