House of Bread could use more... Bread Though the few selection available are good, I can't help thinking House of Bread could use more... well, bread! They have some interesting breads--some contain cranberries, others cinnamon and raisins or real whole wheat. But the selection seems pale and with that, you're left with nothing more than options like day-old bread and modest looking buns. Great bread! Great people! – House of Bread is a great little bread bakery. They offer fresh baked breads and treats. Some of my favorites are Pumpkin Chocolate Chip and Lemon Bread...YUM!!!!! They also have hearty lunches. I make sure to stop in whenever I am in Salt Lake City. Say hello to Lynne when you visit. :)

The high-plains Montana wheat used for baking is stone ground daily at the huge steel contraption just inside the door. Breads are wrapped and stacked neatly on shelves, and pastries glisten under glass. A sprawling mural of golden wheat fields makes you feel like you're truly in the Midwest. The Goods The breads are luscious and low in fat--most of the baked goods contain... read more
