This is actually an ocean front cottage called House at the Point that for rent that is beautiful!
Nice little cottage on the bay. Beautiful scenery with great sunsets. You rough it here with no electricity, but it's quaint and cozy. It's like camping, just without the tent.
This location is so rejuvenating for body and soul. Gas lights, stove and fridge. Plan to rough it a bit, but you will not regret it. Barely a stones throw to the water, perfectly situated to catch the best sunsets. One of my favorite Stonington locations!
If you like vacationing in Maine you will love this quaint A - Frame cottage right on the water at Burnt Cove on Deer Isle. Rustic with no electricity but a gas stove and gas lanterns on the walls. Large deck and sleeps up to 8 people ( bring a blow up queen bed or a couple of sleeping bags ). Nice and private setting.
