To clarify: (Last review was posted quickly by phone). When I visited the shop it was vacant (except for the company's logos still on the windows) and had a realty "for lease" sign in the front window. Though it looks like it was a neat place, it appears to have gone out of business, or at least changed locations.
Beautiful selection. Amazingly helpful and accommodating owners. Bought an adorable red Bobbin Birdie for my wife. Didn't have the right size in the shop but let me take it home so I could surprise her and then bring her in to get the right one ordered and adjusted for us. Also puppy sat during test rides. Love them.
Besides their wonderful merchandise of both restored and new bicycles, clothing, helmets and other accessories, the owner of Houndstooth and his wife are very reliable and very truthful and very patient in terms of letting their customers or even potential customers know what it is wrong with their bicycles and helping them in fixing it.
