Today was our first trial for daycare at Houndstown and we were very impressed. Everyone we spoke to when arranging our apt to check things out today was friendly, clear, professional and obviously dog lovers. Dominic, who helped us today, was very welcoming and wonderful. Nymeria ended up staying for the day after her initial assessment. Dexter had a ball she slept all the way home
The packages I bought expired, despite one of their employees explicitly telling me “they don’t expire” when I asked when purchasing. They do not honor past purchases and do not accommodate their own employee errors. Tbh, I wanted my dog to return but there’s a lot of other amenities they don’t offer, like webcam videos of your dog; I’ve had his food bowls come back broken in the past; missing items from boarding that luckily wasn’t too important but it would still occur semi-regularly; and no in-house training when boarding... read more
I took my dog to Hounds Town after moving to a new city and needing a new place for my baby to go. Dominic and the rest of the staff were so thorough and nice to us and our dog. He answered every question and you can tell that the staff truly cares about your dog’s wellbeing. They take lots of photos of your dog and make you feel like you were there the whole time. I am so happy to have a place close to home where I can trust my dog to play with friends while I’m at work!
