One of the worst experiences. I'll never go back and I hope this doctor is removed. He was incredibly short and has no empathy or desire to help women in pain. I came in for severe pain during my period. I told him my symptoms and he spent a total of 5 minutes in the room (if that). Didn't listen to my concerns, just shot me off to get an ultrasound. When the results came back clear, he rushed me out despite the severe pain I am STILL IN TODAY. He didn't try and figure out what could be causing this excruciating pain. I got ... read more
Dr. Al- hakeem is the best, really listens to my concerns, he has delivered all 5 going on 6 of my children. Staff is amazing, wait times at his other locations can be a little long but worth the wait, if wait times are a problem for you, try the downtown location 😉.
I was supposed to see Dr. Hakeem. Saw Dr Arab today and was completely unheard. He dismissed me and I barely even got two sentences in before he suggested I eat healthier and possibly see GI. Mind you, I’ve been in the ER twice in the last 4 weeks and GI stuff was mostly ruled out, but if he had just listened to me he would’ve gotten that information. THEY DONT OFFER THE NEW SELF HPV (look up teal wand kit) TESTING KIT!! Instead of getting an annoying Pap smear, you can do a self swab kit in the clinic. This doctor needs to look that up because paps and speculums are old news.
When I first started coming here, I truly thought I had found my forever doctor in Dr. Brown. She was caring, attentive, and made me feel heard. Sadly, my experience went downhill after she was no longer available. I was brought to the back room expecting to see her, but instead another doctor walked in — someone I had specifically said I did not want touching me again.
