I went to the emergency room with a knee injury. They discharged me. Upon being discharged I informed them that I lived in Weston Maine and had no money or a ride home. They told me it wasn't there problem and made me leave. I had to sleep on a churchs steps until I could get a ride home the next day. Rude and I'm sure they had some way to help me.
This hospital hates women. They closed their obgyn office and L&D units claiming "women aren't having enough babies" when the truth is that the care here was so poor that women were shunning the place. Women would travel hours to get care elsewhere. This was widely known. But instead of making needed improvements, they shut down those services entirely and victim blamed the women here for refusing to subject themselves to this hospital's neglect.
