What a waste of months this office was. First female doctor completely dismissed my request for a procedure I wanted done, got an appointment with a 2nd one (male)who finally understood me. The month arrives when my procedure was supposed to be scheduled and now they say they can't do it at all. No communication from receptionists either, had to call multiple times for updates or else would have never heard anything back.
I moved to Houlton 3 years ago and have had wonderful experiences with Houlton Hospital including their Obgyn office. The staff are very caring and personable. The great thing about small towns and amenities is how everyone gets to know everyone. The hospital staff are all friendly and very kind and helpful. One of the nurses made me feel extremely uncomfortable and discriminated against. She used outright scare tactics on a pregnant woman with high anxiety, over deli meat... Not at all professional behavior. When asked for a medical opinion she gave me her personal opinion and was very condescending.
