I called them to see if they'd build my house someday. When he found out that I had all required permits and financing and was ready to go, he wouldn't even put me on his waiting list. Not even with a downpayment. He thought I'd keep looking for an available builder, leaving him with a schedule gap. So a financed and fully permitted customer is apparently a "liability" in the current building market.
