I rarely leave reviews, but I believe it’s important to share my experience so others know what to expect, especially when it comes to cancellations. I signed up at HOTWORX Sugar Land (River Park) in February and did not return after the first week. I'd like to give a shout out to JADE!! She is Amazing and made my re-enrollment a FANTASTIC experience!! I have to brag on your Location, I was a former member but my daughter and I cancelled our membership due to relocating further Richmond near Katy. After visiting and calling a couple of locations closer to me I realized what a GEM your Studio/Gym is! I joined HW in January of 2024. My goal was to get healthier and drop at least 10 pounds. 15 months later... I am down 26 pounds and most importantly- mentally healthier. Like with any type of work out routine- you're going to get out of it - what you put in to it. The River Park / SL HW location is extremely convenient. The ladies who staff the studio are always friendly and welcoming. They are on top of cleaning and maintaining the rooms during business hours. after debating on whether or not to try hotworx i made my decision to do so for sure thanks to Alexis! Alexis was so encouraging, reassuring & knowledgeable in all that hotworx has to offer, she took the time to explain every single workout & amenity offered & made me feel comfortable to ask questions since i am only used to gym & and in home workout settings. Update: they claimed to have waived the cancellation fee but still owe me a refund of $62.69. It has been over a month. I have sent multiple emails and they continue to ignore me. Disappointed with HOTWORX’s Lack of Compassion and Communication I’m extremely disappointed with my experience trying to cancel my membership at HOTWORX due to medical reasons.
