I will admit that I don’t make it out as often as I should but… every time I do go in the staff members are always super friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help anyway they can! It is really convenient that people can workout during non business hours with the personalized door code! The few times I’ve shower there, the shampoo/conditioner /body wash dispensers have full and plenty of towels available. I love Hotworx at the West End location! I’ve been to a few Hotworx locations, and this one is by far my favorite. I’ve been a member since they first opened. Everything is convenient. It’s not a big, overwhelming gym - you can get in and out quickly. It's securely locked and available 24/7. They even have a shower, weights, and merch. The heated sauna workouts are perfect for me because I burn more calories faster, but if I’m not in the mood to do a full workout, I’ll just stretch. Will and Alyssa were super friendly! They helped make the experience comfortable and a lot less intimidating. Definitely recommend trying this place out for anyone, anywhere on their fitness journey! Very clean and nice amenities (hygiene products, shampoo/body wash/conditioner, makeup wipes, etc.).
I had an extremely disappointing experience that left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As an LGBTQ+ individual, I value environments where I can work out and prepare for my day without unnecessary stress or hostility, but that was not the case here. I arrived at the gym around 10 p.m. intending to work out and then to head to work. After my workout, I needed to use the only shower in the facility, but it was occupied by a woman for 20 to 25 minutes.
